About me

Claire Rufaro Munjoma is a young upcoming female artist, born on the sixth of November 1999. Her career in art began at a young age of sixteen. Graduated from the National Gallery of Zimbabwe School of Visual Arts and Design in 2019.
 

Mentored by some of Zimbabwe`s artist Doris Kamupira,Julius
Mushambadope, Munyaradzi Mazarire,V ictor Nyakauru to mention a few.
Participated in numerous workshops conversations and art exhibitions both local and international, these include Sithembile Msezane,Chido Johnson, Mwamba Mulangala , Jonh Kotze, Joyce Jenje Makwenda and Moffat Takadiwa.

Her goal as visual and contemporary artist is to advocate for human rights against global issues on poverty, gender inequality and climate change and how it impacts the way we respond to circumstances and develop resilience.
